Here are some things for Martin to do:

1. Download and install a cooler theme
2. Install popular plug-ins like Popularity Contest, Duplicate Sidebar Widgets, and Get Recent Comments.
3. Play around with the Widgets section in the Presentation menu
4. Add categories
